Funko At SDCC - Booth Procedures

As everyone knows by now, Funko will of course be at the San Diego Comic Con again this year.

If you're lucky enough to be heading to the convention this year - here's everything you need to know in order to snag a spot at the Funko booth!

When: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Drawings will start shortly after the lines are let into the building until supplies last. Depending on the amount of attendees in line this line may start moving as early as 6:00am.

 

Where: Pavilion Terrace (Upper level outside Sails Pavilion). Attendees must first enter the Convention Center from the Badged Member entry line at the front of the building before lining up for drawings. Entry to the Sails Pavilion will be from this line.

 

ADA attendees with mobility issues should go to the Lobby B2 doors and use the glass elevators for access to the Sails Pavilion. They will be let up to the holding area outside the Sails Pavilion at the same time as the rest of the attendees.

• One drawing per person, per day.
• This random drawing is for a chance to get a wristband to purchase items at the Funko booth.
• Winning a wristband does not guarantee you of any specific item at the Funko booth. Items may sell out by the time you reach the front of the line.
• Wristbands are for a specific date and time and must be redeemed for that specific session.
• Wristbands are not transferrable.
• There will be a strict limit of one of each item per wristband.
• You will not be able to line up at the Funko booth before your session begins.
• ADA attendees must also go through the lottery process outside the Sail Pavilion, as noted above.

Funko Pop-Up Shop At Comic Con

Funko have announced that their online store (Funko-Shop.com) will have a pop up store in San Diego for Comic Con this year.

The shop will be located at the following address;

Thursday-Sunday (July 21-24), 10:00am-3:00pm
448 West Market Street in the Marina District
Directly across from the Grand Hyatt Manchester

The pop-up shop will have a number of exclusive items available for purchase - some of which are only available in limited quantities. It includes shirts, pops and even their first ever 18" mega dorbz. To see all of the exclusives, click the jump.

Another SDCC Exclusive Unveiled

The Pottermore website have unveiled a set of Comic Con exclusive pop vinyls.

This set is a 3 pack featuring Cornish Pixie, Mandrake and Grindylow.

Based upon the posting it doesn't appear that this set will be available anywhere outside of SDCC but, you never know!

Now Available: Guardians of the Galaxy Star Lord (Mixed Tape)

The Underground Toys exclusive Guardians of the Galaxy Star-Lord (Mixed Tape) pop vinyl in now available for purchase.

Pictures of this pop vinyl began circulating after the movie was released in theaters but the figure had never shown up for sale - until now.

You should be able to pick him up at your usual pop vinyl stockists.

DC's Legion of Collectors: September Theme Revealed!

DC have revealed the theme of their September box. Following in the footsteps of last months Marvel Collector Corps. box, the theme for Septembers box is;

Women of DC

This means the box covers superheros and villains like Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Supergirl and more - although it's unlikely Supergirl will be featured as she was already featured in their last box - DC TV.

Last Chance: DC's Legion of Collectors July Box

If you're still trying to decide whether or not you should get the DC's Legion of Collectors July Box featuring Suicide Squad, you haven't got long left.

The July box closes in just over 24 hours time.

Much like the Marvel box, you have two subscription choices - yearly or monthly to choose from. Each subscription has its own unique set of benefits - all of which are listed on their site.

Unlike the Marvel box though, you are only eligible to receive this box if you live in the United States or Canada. No international shipping is available for this box due to licensing issues.
